Educational Qualification:

The minimum Educational Qualification for ICAR-National Rice Research Institute Recruitment 2024 for the above post vacancies are as follows

Research Associate (RA): Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Botany / Life Science OR M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Botany / Life Science with 4 / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagement as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25/04/2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated Journal.

Young Professional – I (YP-I): Graduate in Agriculture / Life Science / Botany / Zoology.

Young Professional – II (YP-II): Post Graduate in Agriculture / Botany / Life Science / Biotechnology.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M.Sc. (Biotechnology or Botany or Life Science or Agricultural Science) with 4 years or 5 years Bachelors Degree OR M.Sc. (Biotechnology or Botany or Life Science) with 3 years bachelors Degree, NET / GATE qualified and 2 years research experience.

Agriculture Field Operator (AFO): Matriculation with +2 Vocational / Diploma in Agriculature related subject. OR Matriculation with two years of working experience in agricultural field work from reputed organization.

Age Limit:

Age Limit for Research Associate Posts: 21 – 40 Years (45 Years for Women)

Age Limit for Young Professional Posts: 21 – 45 Years

Age Limit for Senior Research Fellow Posts: 21 – 35 Years (40 Years for Women)

Age Limit for Agriculture Field Operator Posts: 18 – 50 Years
